The 40mm case is made from Oystersteel, a high-grade stainless steel that is corrosion-resistant and offers a polished yet durable finish. The black and blue "Batman" bezel is made from Cerachrom ceramic, which is virtually scratchproof and maintains its vivid colors over time.

Rlx movements, providing improved precision, reliability, and a 70-hour power reserve. The movement also features Rlx patented Chronergy escapement for enhanced efficiency.

One of the standout features of the GMT-Master II is its GMT function, which allows the wearer to track two time zones simultaneously. The watch features a 24-hour rotating bezel that, in combination with the GMT hand, enables the tracking of a second time zone.
